"I have been playing the piano, singing, composing and writing songs for most of my life; and I picked up the guitar about 18 years ago.

In terms of coaching on such studies, I began officially about 10 years ago. I taught out of my household or met students at school or a library/their home. In my studies, I have performed and engaged in competitions over the years, and held position as a Tenor Section Leader and Cantor at a local church.

I am currently a Voice and Composition Major at UCSD. Last semester I had a composition for 2 flutes, trumpet, trombone, piano, and recital of a poem entitled 'As For the Coming of Autumn' performed for my Composition final. I was also chosen to sing in the Honors Recital.

I really enjoy sharing what I have learned, and having been through a slew of different teachers for each instrument and voice, I try to apply what works and eliminate what doesn't. My method is really rather straightforward: pay close attention to the individual student and ascertain their individual learning style, as well as their goals. From there, we move forward with customized lesson plans.
