I’m a passionate music teacher with 27+ years of experience helping students of all ages—from six to adult—discover the joy of music. I specialize in piano, voice, and music history & theory, and I tailor every lesson to each student’s goals, making learning interactive, engaging, and rewarding. I hold a degree in Piano Performance & Pedagogy with a minor in Vocal Performance from Colorado State University and pursued graduate studies in Musicology at the University of Colorado. I teach both in person and online, and I’ve found that online lessons can be just as dynamic, effective, and fun as in-studio learning.

Over the years, my students have gone on to amazing accomplishments—earning Boettcher and Fulbright scholarships, performing at Red Rocks, signing with Sony, and pursuing careers as concert pianists and composers. I also continue to perform as a pianist, recently made my conducting debut, and sing as a soprano in the Boulder Symphony chorus. My lessons are warm, fun, and enthusiastic—I love helping students build confidence, technique, and a lifelong love of music.
