I've taught piano for a long time in person but have been doing it online for about four years. I play for church every Sunday; weddings, funerals, accompany soloists and ensembles for events and competitions.

I usually teach a 45-minute lesson for $30. For younger students, I recommend a 30-minute lesson for $24.

It's important to have a piano or keyboard in your home for practicing.

My students and I have the same books, so we're literally 'on the same page.'

I write a summary of the lesson including the new assignment and send as an email.

Knowing something about the 'science' of music enhances your understanding, enjoyment and creativity. So I like to include theory and ear-training with each lesson. We can adjust the emphasis according to your wishes.
