"I’m a lawyer with a B.S. in Political Science and additional graduate study in strategic foresight at the University of Houston. I’ve spent much of my career working in and around government and public policy, but at heart, I’m a lifelong learner. I read widely—history, politics, science, philosophy—and I’m always chasing the next big idea that helps make sense of the world.

I have a deep love for the U.S. political process and a particular passion for American history. I also care deeply about writing—its rhythm, clarity, and power to persuade. Whether I’m helping someone untangle a historical moment or polish an essay, I bring a close attention to structure, argument, and voice. I love a good turn of phrase, and I believe strong writing is a skill anyone can develop with the right support.

My teaching style is conversational, learner-driven, and grounded in mutual curiosity. I meet students where they are, help them build confidence, and encourage them to ask better questions.
