"Embarking on my career with a BFA in Fashion Design from Otis College, I've nurtured a fervent passion for fashion and education, translating complex concepts into digestible, engaging lessons. My professional journey has spanned over two decades, marked by pivotal roles in designing for notable brands such as St. John Knits in areas such as collection-couture and evening-couture, and for Ashworth in golf wear. I also have experience designing for Tommy Bahama, Indigo Palms, Island Soft, Chico's, White/Black Market, Soma, and more. These experiences have not only sharpened my design acumen but also deepened my commitment to mentoring the next generation of fashion innovators.

Currently, I dedicate 10-15 hours weekly to teaching Fashion Design in Irvine, California, and online, where I engage with students across a wide age range. Courses include: "Portfolio Development for Aspiring Fashion Designers" for students in grades 8-12 and "Fashion Design & Illustration" for the imaginative minds of grades 3-7. These roles have enriched my teaching methodology, allowing me to tailor my approach to suit both young learners and more mature students, fostering their creativity and technical skills from a tender age.
