"I was born in Rio de Janeiro, teach both Brazilian and European Portuguese. Having an American mom I know exactly the challenges that Americans have to get rid of the accent! I have great tricks on how to pronounce weird sounds and you will be surprised how fast you will hit the spot. I have worked at the Beverly Hills Lingual Institute but I created my own method, very practical, to get you ready to travel to Brazil or Italy and communicate very fast. We will rehearse how to shop, to order at restaurants, hotels, how to engage in conversation and make new friends. With ten 1 1/2 hour classes you can travel and communicate! I lived in Italy for 2 years near Rome and traveled all over, so I will get you equipped to get the best of the experience.

I also have a MFA in Film from UCLA. I have taught video at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, and in Rio de Janeiro. Script writing and directing are my specialty. I have written and directed a fiction feature film in Brazil and documentaries.
