"I have a bachelor of science degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master of Engineering Management degree from Washington University in St. Louis. I have been applying statistical methods to practical problems in manufacturing for about 40 years now. In recent years I have studied the R programming language and the RStudio environment, which I now use almost every day in my work dealing with equipment reliability.

I have been tutoring students on line for about two years, from high school students through adult learners. I have worked with students on general statistics and probability, but I emphasize those who are using R in their courses. I have worked with students in a variety of domains: ecology, political science, engineering, computer science, and others. I like to match as closely as possible what the student's instructor is doing, and work with each student's specific assignments rather than present something that i have produced.
