I am a Texas Certified Math Teacher with 25 years of experience in a classroom setting. Teaching math has always been my greatest passion, closely followed by my enthusiasm for integrating technology into educational environments. My commitment to professional growth led me to pursue graduate-level courses at the University of North Texas (UNT), focusing on technology in the classroom.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring sessions are designed to be interactive and thought-provoking, encouraging active participation and deeper understanding. After retiring from the traditional classroom environment, I have enjoyed tutoring math online for the past year. This new chapter has allowed me to connect with students in innovative ways and continue sharing my love for mathematics.

Online Teaching Experience

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I adapted to online teaching for my regular middle school math students. Leveraging tools such as Google Classroom, interactive PowerPoints, educational videos, and online calculator programs, I ensured that learning remained engaging and effective despite the challenges of remote education.
