"Hi there! My name is Ashley, and I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington State University with a B.S. in Chemistry and minors in Mathematics and Biology. During college, I balanced a full course load with athletics and tutoring for the WSU Athletics Department, helping student-athletes excel in challenging STEM courses while managing demanding schedules.

I’ve tutored high school and college students in subjects like General and Organic Chemistry, Biology, and Calculus. My goal is to help students truly understand each concept, not just memorize formulas. I use an interactive teaching style by breaking down complex material into simple steps, asking students to explain concepts in their own words, and reinforcing understanding through guided problem-solving.

Many of my students have improved their exam performance by a full letter grade or more, and I take pride in helping them gain confidence and independence in their learning. I especially enjoy connecting science to real-world and medical applications, helping students see how what they’re learning applies beyond the classroom.

I’m flexible with scheduling and happy to offer online or in-person sessions, whether for long-term academic support or short-term test prep. I aim to create a low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
