"Hi! My name is Ovi, and I recently graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and a minor in Environmental Studies, where I attended on a full scholarship. During my time at Princeton, I received distinctions including the R.W. Van Velde Award for academic excellence, the John H. Streicker International Fellowship, the Leonard D. Schaeffer Fellowship in Government Service, and the Gates Scholarship, for which I later served as a Squad Leader mentoring new scholars. I am also an incoming Strategy Analyst at Deloitte Government & Public Services Consulting, bringing experience in analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and collaboration.
My tutoring experience began in high school, where I spent two years as a peer tutor in math, English, history, and AP courses through my school’s academic literacy center. Since then, I’ve continued to mentor students through academic and professional growth—guiding Gates Scholars through college-preparation programs and mentoring peers at Princeton on career development. I especially enjoy helping others refine their college essays and applications, drawing out their authentic voices and helping them present their experiences with clarity and impact.
I am passionate about helping students grow in K–12 reading, writing, and math, as well as guiding them through the college application process with confidence and clarity. I aim to help students strengthen their reading, writing, and math foundations while also fostering confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking. Beyond subject mastery, I specialize in helping students develop effective study strategies. My approach emphasizes personalized, structured support that meets students where they are, builds on their strengths, and helps them achieve their full potential!" less...
