"Hello, I'm Veronica! I graduated from Princeton University summa cum laude with a bachelor's in neuroscience and am now an incoming medical student at the University of Pennsylvania. I have been tutoring for the past 6 years, and I have focused on SAT and ACT test prep. All of my students see tremendous improvements in their scores with just a few weeks of prep time. They all scored much higher than their initial test scores, and most scored close to or at the 99th percentile. I have also worked with students ranging from 2nd grade to adult learners. In the past, I have worked closely with students to help with AP Biology, Chemistry, Algebra I/II, Calculus, Trigonometry, Geometry, etc.

My goal is for all my students to truly understand the material that they are learning instead of using rote memorization. In my experience, this has helped boost test scores and overall mastery of the content. I will usually start lessons off by teaching some content review through fun and interactive methods. Then, I like to expose my students to various practice problems to ensure that they understand the material and have the time to apply everything they learned. No student is the same, so I always spend hours coming up with personalized lesson plans for each of my students.
