"Hello my name is Jassiem ! I am a globally experienced professional educator and member of the 2025 Teach for America corps. I graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Global Studies and Chinese Studies. I am certified in Elementary education and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL).

Currently, I have 2 years of experience as a tutor and 1.5 years as a full time teacher. During college I taught a five week intermediate English program over zoom to students studying English in Indonesia. After graduating, during the summer and 2024-25 academic year, I conducted group and individual tutoring sessions for 9th graders studying intermediate-level Mandarin. During the 2024-25 academic year, I was a long-term substitute for 6th grade math. For the 2025 summer, I taught rising 4th grade ELA and participated in training with Teach for America.
