I’ve managed to tutor students of many levels, primarily in math, but also in some physics and engineering. As an undergrad, I worked as a math tutor through my university's library center services for a year, for subjects ranging from College Math up to Calculus 3 and some Graduate level math. Most tutoring experiences during this tenure included 1-1 tutoring, but I also tutored in groups of 2 or more students in some sessions. As a graduate student, I worked as a Graduate Teacher Assistant for a year for a Principles of Electrical Engineering course for non-EE students, and I served as a private tutor for many students at Texas A&M and at nearby colleges in the College Station area for about a year, where I tutored elementary to college-level students in math and other subjects.
Other than my tutoring experiences, I have also worked at various private and government entity employments, including at NASA, MIT, and HP. Through my current and past employments, I have worked with various peers (from entry to senior level) in solving problems where various concepts in math, science, engineering, and technology were required for formulating a solution.
Per my educational background, in 2013, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering with Cum Laude (GPA of 3.76) and a University Honors Certificate from the University of Texas at El Paso, and in 2018 I obtained a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Through my past experiences as a tutor and through continued engagement with university students, I am familiar with many math curriculums that college students nationwide currently follow that are majoring in a STEM-related career. I have worked with many students that are in need of help in improving their grades, that needed tutoring to pass a class, or that just needed some help to solve that one difficult problem.
I am fluent in Spanish. I am also familiar with some" less...
