"I enjoy helping students learn. In fact, I work for Professional Tutors of America, and I tutor for schools in the Palmdale School District (Southern California). In regard to the this tutoring forum, I am currently tutoring the following subjects: Algebra 1, Biology, Elementary Math, Elementary Science, English, French, Grammar, Prealgebra, Proofreading, Reading, Spelling, Vocabulary & Writing! I have a vast array of subjects that I tutor because I have experience with each subject. I acquired that experience while attending California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Moreover, I enjoy studying these subjects on my own time. And that makes it easier for me to tutor my students in these subjects.

Furthermore, during Spring 1994 while I was still attending CSUN, I was employed at a private middle school/high school in Pacoima, California. I tutored students in a variety of subjects ranging from Prealgebra to English Composition. The students with whom I worked during my college years appreciated my help. For when I tutor, I am neither passive nor pusillanimous. I encourage my students by praising their triumphs and helping them work through their failures.

My tutoring method is very simple. I expect that each individual with whom I am tutoring to be committed to the process of learning. For instance, if I am helping a student who is not up to grade level in a subject, I take that student back to the basics! Than I help that student advance to their grade level.
