"Hello, I'm Allie! I am an undergraduate junior with a dual major in Anthropology and History. I have a 3.947 GPA and have passed all of my general education courses with an A. Additionally, I have been on the Dean's Honor Roll every semester of college thus far.

During the academic year I work in a public high school as a site tutor with an emphasis on at-risk students. I am a big proponent of meeting students where they are and adapting my approach in accordance. Some of my favorite methods utilize AVID and WICOR strategies, however I understand that these do not work for everybody! Personally, I utilize the Pomodoro Technique when studying and have found aspects of it beneficial when tutoring, too.

I have been conducting one-on-one and small group tutoring in a professional setting for two years. This is typically done in a classroom setting; however, I am a fan of creating a comfortable environment to encourage student success.
