"Hi, I’m Logan! I graduated from NC State University and have a degree in Math Education - Mathematics Specialization. I am also a math teacher.

I can teach a wide variety of subjects, spanning from foundations of algebra to calculus. I am enthusiastic to get to know those I have the pleasure of working with and to build a trusting relationship. I think feeling comfortable with the person who’s teaching plays a large role in student engagement and understanding. I think math is less a process of memorizing procedures and formulas and more a practice in how to think logically. Math should make sense, and if it doesn’t, I am determined to guide you through intuitive instruction that will allow it to make sense for you!

I have a passion for math and helping others learn. I am very patient, no matter how many times I need to explain something or repeat myself. I always go at a pace the student can handle and understand the importance of not overwhelming them with information. I like helping students understand the “why” behind mathematics along with the “how.” The type of teacher a student has can really make or break their math experience, so I like to make math enjoyable for my students.
