I'm a classically-trained guitarist with an affinity for Jazz and World music. I value versatility and love to teach and play a variety of styles. I look forward to connecting with you!

I'm a performer, music educator, composer/arranger, and luthier currently based in Florida. I began my formal music education studying the classical guitar at the University of Idaho, where I graduated with a Master's Degree in Classical Guitar Performance.

I value variety and diversity in music: I study and regularly perform Jazz, Folk, and Latin American Music, as well as build my own instruments. I completed a second Master's degree in Musicology from Florida State University where I led the FSU Andean Ensemble.

I love to work with students of all ages and abilities: I have been a private instructor for more than a decade, and taught both elementary school (K-8) and university music classes.

As a private guitar and ukulele instructor, I tailor my lessons to the specific needs and interests of my students. Whether you are interested in learning fingerpicking, strumming patterns, new chord voicings, or playing lead guitar, I can put you on the path to success.

For those who are interested in learning Classical Guitar, I offer a traditional pedagogical approach, addressing standard repertoire and proper right-hand technique. I personally have an affinity for South American repertoire, and also enjoy playing Baroque music.
