"Hello, I’m Trey (SCHOOL OF ROCK instructor for VOICE/PIANO and FORBES MUSIC CO. CLASSICAL PIANO teacher), and I have a unique ability to make you both literate and fluent in music.

Musical literacy means you can read music — like reading a book.

Musical fluency means you can make music — play by ear, improvise, jam, and create naturally, the way you speak a language.

Most teachers only train on one of these.

I teach both.

Fluency also uses a completely different kind of practice — fun, creative, ear‑based work that feels like real music‑making, not the boring drills that burn out so many classical students. You’ll learn to read confidently and make music freely, so you become a complete musician, not just a note‑reader.
