My tutoring experience spans 14 years, nearly 2000 hours with Wyzant students, and many more hours with private students. I have coached students to perfect 800s on all sections of the SAT, and high 30s on the ACT.

I teach:

I tailor my tutoring to the individual needs of each student. My students have attended public, private, charter, and home schools, and I have worked with students with many learning differences, including ADHD and dyslexia.

About me:

I have a BS in molecular bio from the UC Davis, and completed two years of graduate studies in environmental microbiology at UC Santa Barbara. After grad school, I discovered private tutoring was a great match for my skills. I truly enjoy working with students individually to help them surmount the many challenges school places in their paths.

I have been tutoring and teaching since 2008. I also tutored for the SUN after-school program in Portland, developed several classes for Saturday Academy, and teach SAT classes.
