"After my college training in journalism, and while helming a holistic health practice and raising my two children, I returned to San Francisco State University to earn my BA and MFA in English/Creative Writing, with additional studies in American literature and cinema. I am now a professional independent screenwriter with the Writers Guild of America and Women in Film. I love teaching writing and reading with students of all ages, from diverse backgrounds, and at any stage of the writing process.

I have consulted on and edited screenplays, fiction, and essays for clients ranging from high school students to middle-aged engineers to film industry pros. As an erstwhile massage therapist and teacher with 25 years of experience, I've also taught holistic health adult education for new mothers, nurses, and midwives at Bay Area hospitals, including Children's Hospital at Stanford.

My teaching method is to research what I can about a prospective client/student along with whatever information you share with me. As an artist and empath, this helps me to better understand your vision for yourself so that we can communicate on a level of truth and for your highest achievement.

I am a dual U.S.-French citizen and a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation with two grown, multicultural kids; our family speaks English, French, German, Spanish, and some Cherokee.
