"My name is Elizabeth and I have a diverse work history. I started out assistant teaching in the Catholic school that I went to as a child. I was able to do my student teaching at that preschool as well. I loved making different lessons for my preschoolers in each of their developmental areas. When I graduated Holyoke Community College I was excited to have my own classroom but sad to leave where I was working. I became a lead teacher in a bilingual preschool classroom. Everyone station I created whether it be a new theme in the literature corner was in English and Spanish. I felt very inspired by my students and even picked up some Spanish myself.

I chose to return to college to finish my Bachelors degree. I studied English at Westfield State College. I was a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honors Society. I worked babysitting my former students I had at my Catholic preschool while I was finishing school.

I have used my English degree to work at a local newspaper freelancing. I recently had a job editing a book that was self-published by the author. I am looking forward to using my teaching skills and English degree again.

I have two degrees that have taught me to prepare lessons. I have the background studying literature, writing and proofreading. I went to Catholic school all my life and I am well versed in the Bible also.
