A little about my background:

I am a professional journalist, who has written broadcast news copy for CBS News; worked as an assignments editor for Voice of America, reporter for City News Service, and producer for Fox News Channel, Associated Press, Reuters, al Arabiya; and the Red Car Film Project and both Editor-in-Chief and foreign correspondent for the European Review

As a speech writer, I wrote speeches for a UK Shadow Foreign Secretary and an Ambassador.

As a postgraduate, I wrote foreign policy briefing materials for Parliamentarians, universities, and the media as Senior Research Fellow for the Atlantic Council of the UK (NATO public affairs office).

I have researched and written thousands of articles and over a dozen books. I have also won a number of writing awards and writing scholarships.

I hold a BA in English from UC Irvine, where I was an Honors Humanities student; an MA in International Relations and postgraduate certificate in Public International Law from the University of Essex, and postgraduate certificate in Public International Law from the University of Helsinki.
