"I hold a degree in Finance from Texas A&M University but don't let that fool you! I quickly discovered that my true calling is in writing and education. For more than 25 years, I’ve worked as a professional writer, specializing in crafting clear, compelling, and persuasive communication. Over the past two decades, I’ve served as a grant writer, developing hundreds of successful proposals for nonprofits and educational organizations. I also have experience in developing and editing essays, research papers, newsletters, and a wide range of professional and academic materials.

My teaching background includes several years as a 4th-grade teacher, where I supported diverse learners, including students with learning differences. This experience taught me the importance of adapting instruction to meet each student’s individual needs and learning style. I’ve also volunteered at an inner-city tutoring center, providing academic support and mentorship to students from varied backgrounds. This enables me to effectively tutor students in middle school through adulthood in English composition, reading comprehension, and analytical writing.
