"I am an Assistant Professor in Public Health. I teach courses related to public health, health coaching, biostatistics, research methods, and statistic software programs including SPSS, SAS, and Stata. Additionally I am an experienced biostatistician and researcher with advanced statistical, research methods, and writing skills. Through my research, I use several statistic programs daily. I have advanced skills in SPSS, Excel, and PowerPoint and have significant experience with SAS, Stata, and MPlus.

I know first hand both as a student and professor that often learning in large classrooms is difficult. Many of my students benefit from extra one-on-one time where examples and discussion of the material can be tailored to their personal learning style. Additionally, statistics and software programs like SPSS can be very challenging at first and can feel like an uphill battle sometimes. I like having the opportunity to work with students to bring clarity to subjects that they may be having trouble in, I love when we can get to that "ah ha" moment when it all clicks.
