"Hello! My name is Morgan and I am pursuing my BA in English Literature and Secondary Education in Central Massachusetts. I'm currently enrolled in a teacher preparation program and am projected to receive my certification in May 2026. I maintain a 3.75 GPA and have made the Dean's list since I started college in 2022.

As part of my coursework, I have 65 hours and counting in pre-practicum experience. I have actively observed students in both middle and high school settings and developed lesson plans based on the Massachusetts Language Arts and Literacy Curriculum Framework. I incorporate media from classroom texts to popular culture to teach students the fundamental elements of English Language Arts spanning four language domains: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. I have a special interest in creative and academic writing development; my writing has been published in various publications with recognition from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and the Worcester County Poetry Association.

In terms of my certifications, I have passed the Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure (MTEL) in Communication and Literacy Skills. My score on the English MTEL is currently pending in addition to Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement." less...
