"Currently, I manage a Combat Team outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic at Fort Stewart, GA. As a psychological technician in the Army, I am responsible for teaching mental skills, resilience, and performance enhancement techniques to Army Soldiers. I regularly conduct personalized training for individual Soldiers on how to learn and utilize applicable mental strategies in route to achieving peak performance. Further, I maintained a therapeutic caseload and treat pervasive behavioral health issues with positive psychology strategies such as: Confidence Building, Goal Planning, Attentional Focus, Stress Management, Guided Imagery, and Progressive Muscle Relaxation.

Prior to the military, I worked as an ESL instructor in South Korea for three years. While there, I managed operations relevant to the foreign ESL Teaching Staff, to include scheduling and facilitating performance reviews for 12 instructors. I developed curriculum, lesson plans, tests, and evaluation methods for grades K-12.

My qualifications include a BS in Psychology, MS in Health Education, and a Graduate Certification Sports Fitness. I am also a nationally Certified Health Education Specialist and a Certified Sports Psychology Coach. Currently, I am working on my PsyD. in Sport and Performance Psychology, and have aspirations to complete the program by December 2016.

My teaching methods encourage students to accept responsibility for their growth in content-related knowledge by empowering them to think rationally, abstractly, and logically.
