I am a recent graduate of North Carolina State University with a BA in Psychology and a 3.9 major GPA. In high school, I took a variety of AP courses including AP Psychology. As a high school senior, I tutored students as a member of the National Honor’s Society. My personal approach to tutoring is to conduct an informal assessment in order to determine the student's needs and develop a personalized education plan (PEP). After the PEP is in place, we would work on the concepts in which the student demonstrated the least competence. With reference to my credentials I have taken the following courses: Developmental Psychology, Biological Psychology, Cognitive Processes, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Ergonomics, Health Psychology, Personality Psychology, Research Methods in Psychology. Additionally, I was a research assistant for 1 year in a lab that focused on learning and metacognition.

I have always been enthusiastic about helping people to understand difficult concepts and finding the most efficient way to study. Throughout college, I helped many of my friends with topics with which they struggled. In the future, I hope to work in the educational technology industry in order to develop learning tools and applications that make learning as easy as possible.
