"Hello! My name is Chuck, and I have been a professional writer for 20 years. While my focus has primarily been in the film world, I have also written novels, short stories, flash fiction, and more. Several of these stories have been published, including my novel "Brine," which came out in 2018. My most recent story, "Exploring the Elsewhere," was published by Savage Planets magazine in October. I have also won a few awards for my writing, including Best Drama for my script "Kaylee, Age 8."

I am currently an English and Writing tutor at Chattahoochee Technical College. In 2023, I graduated from KSU with a Master's in Professional Writing, with an ultimate goal to teach writing. Tutoring has given me tremendous insight into what students struggle with, and I'm grateful to have all this knowledge. When I become a professor, I feel I will be more prepared to shape the class in a way that benefits all students.

Recently, I was diagnosed with ADHD. Understanding how my brain works and how it's different from others has truly opened my eyes. It's made me more aware of how different students approach the same problem, and that these paths are often hard-wired.
