"I am a published poet (seven books) and a songwriter, primarily with international recording artist Chuck Prophet. I have written the libretto for an opera and co-written (along with Prophet) a full-length rock musical. I have years of experience as a freelance literary editor (references on request) and recently as an online tutor through the Japan-based Native Camp platform. My background is varied and I am a good listener and a patient communicator. I look forward to working with young people who value the English language. A bent toward creative writing helps too."
