"Hi! I'm Sean ,I am currently a first-year student at Purdue University, majoring in Electrical Engineering. My coursework emphasizes strong foundations in mathematics, physics, and problem-solving, which I am eager to share with younger students. My studies require a high level of analytical thinking, which I can adapt into clear, age-appropriate lessons for elementary and middle school learners.
While I am just beginning my college journey, I have experience supporting peers and younger students through homework help and one-on-one study sessions in subjects such as math, science, and reading comprehension. In high school, I often assisted classmates with algebra, geometry, and basic physics concepts, helping them prepare for tests and strengthen their understanding.
I was previously a volunteer tutor who helped primary and middle school students to improve their grade, I usually focus teaching them math but sometimes I would help them on different subjects too. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into step-by-step explanations, using examples and visual aids to make learning approachable.
I adapt my approach to match each student’s learning style and pace, encouraging them to ask questions and build confidence as I am a similar age to them I can understand them more easily and help them understand in a different way.
I am passionate about helping younger students discover that learning can be both fun and rewarding. As an engineering student, I know the importance of developing strong fundamentals early, and I enjoy guiding students to understand how engineering could be fun. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students can feel motivated to learn and proud of their progress." less...
