"Hi, I'm Sam, and I'm here to tutor you on math. At Purdue University, where I am an undergraduate studying nuclear engineering, I consistently maintain a cumulative GPA above 3.5. Since my early years, I have had a deep love for mathematics, which has only grown stronger as I've progressed through my academic career. I received a 5 on the AP Calculus test and was a straight-A student in high school, proving my ability and passion for this field. I've studied algebra, trigonometry, and basic calculus for a long time, and I like simplifying difficult ideas for others to understand by making them easier to understand. Mathematics is the language of the universe, and by helping my fellow students build these skills, I aim to equip them not only for the workforce but also to describe and investigate the fundamentals of the world around them.

Through my high school's National Honor Society Scholarship Committee, I worked one-on-one with students to help them grasp difficult math concepts throughout my senior year. Along with helping my sister with her own science and math homework, I have also had some experience tutoring younger students informally. As a tutor, I take pride in my ability to engage students and communicate mathematical concepts in an approachable manner that fosters confidence and comprehension.
