"I hold a Master of Arts in English – Literature from Northern Arizona University, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. I also earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Davis, and completed the Teacher Certification Program at Centenary College in New Jersey. My professional credentials include Arizona Standard Secondary Education (7–12 English) and Elementary Education (K–8) certifications, as well as a Structured English Immersion K–12 endorsement.

I bring over 15 years of teaching experience across multiple grade levels, subjects, and instructional settings. In the classroom, I have taught 4th grade core subjects, as well as 7th grade ELA, Reading, Photojournalism, and Yearbook, working with a diverse range of learners, including Title I, honors, ESL, and students with IEP and 504 accommodations. My instructional approach emphasizes differentiated lesson planning, integration of technology, and interactive learning methods such as Socratic circles to promote critical thinking. I have also served as a substitute teacher for grades K–12, adapting to varied lesson plans and classroom environments, and as an AZELLA exam proctor to ensure standardized testing compliance.
