"Hi! I’m Marlee, a passionate literacy educator with over 8 years of experience helping students become confident, capable readers. I hold two master’s degrees—one in Literacy from the University of Northern Colorado and another in Teaching and Reading Intervention from Colorado College. My approach blends evidence-based reading strategies with individualized support to meet each student exactly where they are.
I’m also a certified Academic Language Practitioner, trained in structured literacy and Orton-Gillingham-based methods that are proven to support students with dyslexia and other reading challenges. My work is grounded in research and rooted in compassion.
I’m the founder of Words Without Limits, a nonprofit that provides free dyslexia therapy to underserved students, and Read with MB, my private practice where I provide both in-person and virtual reading intervention. Whether your child needs help with decoding, fluency, comprehension, or spelling—I can help.
Let’s build skills and confidence, one word at a time." less...
