"I am a licensed reading and special education teacher with experience working with children with learning disabilities and those learning English as a second language. Additionally, I have a certification in Dyslexia instruction with the Reading by Design curriculum, which I will use with students when appropriate. Lessons will be based on the individual student's strengths and areas of need and may cover phonics, handwriting, spelling, and comprehension strategies.

I have worked in the public education system for 5 years, and I have experience teaching children ages 4-12, including those with disabilities that affect their academic progress.
