"Hi there! I’m in my 10th year of teaching here in the Twin Cities, and I’m passionate about helping kids discover that learning can actually be fun! I’ve worn many hats over the years — K-5 Reading and Math Interventionist (working with small groups and 1:1), 5th grade teacher where I learned how to adapt lessons for every type of learner and even a continuous K-5 building substitute. During Covid, I even tutored online to make sure my students kept growing and feeling confident.

I’m trained in The OL & LA Science of Reading, SIPPS, and FastBridge, which means I know how to make phonics, blending, segmenting, and reading fluency “click” for kids. I’m also trained in AdVantage Math Recovery Courses 1-3 and hold a Master’s in Education Technology from Concordia University, St. Paul — so I love bringing in engaging resources, games, and creative approaches to keep students motivated and excited about learning.

My goal is simple: help students feel proud of what they can do and excited to take on new challenges.
