"I am a certified Special Education teacher. I have worked with students from 2nd through 9th grade and currently teach in a self-contained classroom for learners with a variety of needs. While I specialize in reading and phonics, I’m not limited to literacy — I’ve also tutored middle school students in math, science, and social studies. Over the years, I’ve helped students strengthen skills across subjects while building confidence and independence in their learning. I tailor each lesson to fit the student’s needs, making sure learning is both effective and enjoyable.

I love connecting with students through their interests. As a coach, I often use sports, games, and even pop culture references to make lessons fun and relatable. By tying learning to what motivates them, I create a positive environment where students feel understood, encouraged, and ready to tackle challenges.

Every child learns differently, and I adjust my approach to meet them where they are.
