"I believe that everyone was placed on this Earth with a purpose to fulfill. With that being said, I believe that my purpose is to help children succeed and assist them in obtaining a brighter future. This purpose has been the driving force in my life. At the tender age of 10, while other girls were playing with dolls, I was busy teaching my little cousins. Later in my teenage years, I started working as an assistant teacher at a day care center in New York, where I later became the head teacher of a prekindergarten class for the last 6+ years. This blossoming love for teaching has led me to complete an undergraduate program in Early Childhood Education graduating with the Cum Laude honor, many Dean's List awards and a Provost award. While obtaining my degree and receiving these various awards, I know for a fact that hard work and having someone to help you reach your potential will pay off.

Follow-up activities (homework) might be given if I feel that a child needs extra practice. I also perform weekly assessments to make sure that a child has mastered a specific skill or level before moving to another.

I believe in working together as a team for the benefit of the child. For that reason, feedback from parents is very much appreciative. The line of communication is always open between each parent and myself.

I am flexible with time. While I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy, I do offer makeup classes.
