"Thank you for considering me for your tutoring needs. I am an educator with over 15 years of classroom and small group teaching experience. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have my Professional Educator's certification for the state of Illinois. I also have my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Reading. Additionally, I have English to Speakers of other Languages (ESL), and Gifted Education endorsements on my teaching license.

As a classroom teacher I have taught all primary grades from PreK to 3rd. I also have experience tutoring students in middle school and high school in various subjects. In addition to teaching in the classroom setting, I have also served as a ESL teacher in which I used various teaching methods in small group to help non native English speakers to be successful in the classroom environment. I have also served as an academic interventionist, where I worked with students who struggled in reading and math. In addition, I worked with students on grade level and above, helping them to excel by providing enrichment opportunities.
