"I have 10 years of experience as a public school teacher working with students with a wide range of ages, strengths, and challenges. I began my teaching career as a third grade classroom teacher. After obtaining a Master's Degree, I changed roles to an elementary Reading Specialist. I am now a Reading Specialist in a middle school, which is my favorite position so far. I see so many older students who have gaps in their foundational reading skills, and I love when it "clicks" for them after receiving explicit instruction in their areas of need.

I am licensed as an Elementary Educator (1-6) and a Reading Specialist (K-12) and have experience working with many different approaches and programs.

I am certified as a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner and have currently work with students in a Language-based Learning Program in a public middle school.
