"I have tutored students of all ages from elementary reading, writing, and arithmetic, high school students, struggling in academic subjects, including English, grammar, composition, German, speech, and literature. I have helped students prepare for college exams, SAT English, writing, and grammar, and I have taught sixth graders to graduate students. I have taught middle school language arts, German, journalism, speech, mathematics, reading, English writing, grammar, spelling, and college English and literature,as well as tutoring students for SAT and college board tests. I am able to work with all levels of students.

My educational career began as a sixth grade to 8th grade teacher, and I taught language arts, mathematics, reading, and sponsored the school's newspaper. I have a master's degree in speech, German, and English, as well as postgraduate work in Rhetoric and Composition theory, literature, and German. I am computer literate and am continually upgrading my pedagogy.

I started graduate school and received a masters in speech communication while I taught school during the day. I attended the University of South Florida and received a master's degree in English literature with a minor in Composition and Rhetoric. During the day, I taught for Pinellas County high schools, teaching English, German, Debate, and journalism.

During the summer I worked as a proofreader for the St. Petersburg Times. I attended graduate school at UCSB during the summer and received a master's in German. Also, I taught German at SPJC for ten years. I have been a teacher at HCC for ten years. I am always available to tutor any age." less...
