"Tutoring/teaching experience: I volunteered at my local church teaching kids from preschool and up about the word of God. I also helped students with disabilities at EPCC with their notes on any class they needed help on.

I think there’s so much to love about tutoring another person because not only are you learning things yourself as a tutor you’re helping other people and that’s so important me.

As a child I loved anything and everything science. I performed and took “team leader” on 7 dissections. I took 4 science classes my last semester of high school, which were physics II, Food Science, Anatomy and Physiology, and Forensics Science.

I loved reading growing up I was ranked first place in first grade for the most AR points which put me ahead of my vocabulary, reading, and writing skills at such a young age. I was commended on my 4th grade writing STAAR.

As a student I know it’s really struggling so I want to make sure I’m tutoring my students on areas they feel overwhelmed on the most. The STAAR is just another exam, but it does bring a lot of nerves so I want give hope to other students.

I love history so much because it’s always evolving. I mean look at 2020 worldwide pandemic, online school, and jobs. History is so unique to learn because you get to go back in time and into the future all the time, as they say “time is of the essence”
