"I hold a BFA and MFA and have been teaching visual arts for over 15 years, with a strong focus on color theory, drawing, painting, and 2D design. Since 2005, color theory has been my teaching specialty, and I’ve developed engaging, hands-on lessons to help students truly understand how color works in both traditional and digital media.

My teaching experience includes classroom instruction, both online and in person, mostly at the college level. However, I’ve worked with students ranging from young children to adults, and I tailor my approach based on each learner’s age, experience level, and goals. I prioritize curiosity and experimentation while building a solid foundation in technique and visual thinking.

My teaching methods emphasize exploration and creativity, encouraging students to take artistic risks while learning the formal elements of design.
