"My name is Brian, and I just graduated from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. I'm looking to help tutor students for the summer before I move to Thailand to teach English for a year.

Tutoring in writing and reading would be preferable for me. I love both creative writing and analytical writing. I did my student teaching in Yonkers Middle High School, working in 8th and 10th grade classrooms. It was a joy working with those ages. I made the material relatable for them. and they were really hooked into the novels I taught them.

I like to make learning as fun and relevant as possible. I think the best way to teach is to make subjects personal and relatable to students, so that they really take the material to heart and remember it.
