I’m Sithara! I recently graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University with a degree in Behavioral Neuroscience and a minor in Data Science. I’ve spent six years teaching and tutoring and I love helping students feel confident with challenging material. I first began assisting 2nd graders in a classroom, then went on to teach math and English to students ages 4–13 at the Kumon institute for over three years, where I learned how to explain concepts in clear and approachable ways. In college, I tutored calculus for three years, supporting students with everything from mastering fundamentals to tackling complex assignments.

I know math can feel intimidating, but my goal as your tutor is to make it approachable (and even enjoyable!). My lessons are flexible and always shaped around what you need, whether that’s reviewing concepts, walking through examples step by step, or preparing for exams. A typical session starts by identifying what you’d like to focus on, followed by guided practice and strategies to strengthen your problem-solving skills. I work with students of all levels, and I value adapting my explanations so they truly click for your learning style!
