I strive to adapt teaching methods to the specific needs, interests and learning style of the student. My formal background in engineering (electrical) has given me a great deal of patience when dealing with abstract concepts (!).

The most important aspect of the tutoring relationship is in clearly determining objectives! Some students simply learn at their own pace; others suffer from external distractions of one type or another; but all are fully capable of learning curriculum material, given suitable guidance and opportunity to address questions. I am a firm believer in maintaining a relaxed approach to what are often stress-inducing topics.!
