"I began a lifelong passion of learning foreign languages at the age of 7, and after studying both French and Spanish for 11 years, I undertook a BA in Modern Arabic Studies with a Spanish minor. I traveled to Cairo, Egypt where I received a certificate to teach English as a Foreign Language and completed a year of teaching English in a private elementary school in Cairo.

On my return to the UK, I became credentialed in French and found employment with two secondary schools ( a combination of Middle and High school education) specializing in French. In addition, I tutored French to both adults and children which helped me to create an effective tutoring style of my own.

Since relocating to Southern California, I have taught intensive English courses (focus on writing skills, reading fluency, and verbal communication) to International students for a company in Thousand Oaks and I have continued to tutor Spanish and French to elementary, middle and high school students, mainly focusing on curriculums for French and Spanish 1, 2 and 3. I have accumulated many effective teaching resources and methods to assist my pupils during their journey of learning a foreign language. I have implemented ways to increase children's focus by using games, songs, and collaborative learning and am happy to provide extra practice sheets and homework if required.
