Over my sixteen years as a Wyzant tutor, I’ve cherished guiding students like E not only to improve their test scores but also to grow in confidence and independence. Throughout my time at Wyzant, I’ve had the privilege of working with many incredible families. Every student and family brings unique challenges, and together we overcome them.

On several occasions, I’ve had the honor of working with families long-term—sometimes guiding a student from middle school through their successful college applications. These students have been accepted to prestigious colleges such as Brown University, where one student was admitted to the combined baccalaureate–MD program, and Columbia University, where another excelled and received the Rhodes Scholarship. I might add that this student was homeschooled and, under my tutelage, earned a National Merit Scholarship based on her exceptional SAT scores. Being part of these families’ academic journeys has been truly an honor.

As a dedicated tutor, I also help students prepare for major exams like the SAT and SHSAT, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. This support has led to many success stories. Preparing students for the SHSAT has been particularly rewarding, as I’ve witnessed the joy and pride on many students’ faces when they gain admission to specialized high schools such as Brooklyn Tech, Stuyvesant, Bronx High School of Science, and Staten Island Technical High School.

I also offer tutoring in subjects including Biology, Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. With a Master of Philosophy in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology and a B.S. in Biology, I bring a deep understanding of complex subjects to my tutoring, helping students find clarity and confidence even in the most challenging topics.
