Since 2017, I have helped quite a lot students with difficulties in math learning. Past 3-5 years, most of my students are 6-9th grader. 5-6th grades is a critical time for kids making good transition. To help teenager improve on Math often requires more than just Math knowledge. With my passion, dedicated effort and targeted strategy, I had quite some success, many happy families/parents. I feel this a great reward to see student/family achieve their goal.

As a native speaker I also teach Mandarin Chinese. With 2 engineering master degrees and as a software engineer for many years, I have very solid & extensive math training. My tutoring/teaching experience started very early as a teenager myself, I often needed to help my younger brother. Later I taught computer related courses in college for 4.5 years as a full time job. I also have a complete cycle of USA educational experience/exposure with my own child ( preschool all the way to graduate school). so I am strong at both math and teaching skills. I am especially good at helping kids behind school level (or adult to pass some tests :-) Each person is unique, so is my tutoring approach, which constantly adapted to the individual needs. That's one of the main reasons I have so many great tutoring results.

Please note: my rate varies, depend on a few factors. While on certain day I maybe busy, as of May 2025, I do still have quite some opening (or flexibility) to add new students, especially for online form.
