"I'm a multi-generational teacher who has taught English, speech, and ESL at all grade levels including adults and special needs students. I enjoy being able to quickly identify a student's unique needs and challenges and I know how to help students progress quickly. Students find me patent, kind and fun to work with. Because my background includes lots of experience with special needs students, I am effective with ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, and students on the spectrum. Regarding ESL tutoring, I have a deep understanding of the science and research behind the way English as a second language is learned. Because I also train teachers who are using state-adopted ESL materials, I have access to lots of great resources. I love technology and enjoy using it as a tool in my work.
