My name is Chandan. I spend a lot of my free time growing native plant species and giving away plants to neighbors. I also love cooking and am working on creating a book of tasty recipes using foods from the Eastern Woodlands ecosystem. I live in Takoma Park with my wife, Anagha, and our two cats, Perry Mason and Jamun.

My first job was at a tutoring service, where I focused on tutoring kids with autism and ADHD. I see autism and ADHD as superpowers, not disabilities.

I have a background in Mechanical and Industrial Design from Georgia Tech. I am a published medical device designer, hold a patent for a bicycle lock mechanism, have over six years of experience working with local park systems as a restoration ecologist, and over six years of experience as a UX researcher." less...
